Sun Auto Tire & Service in Frisco, TX is seeking a Senior Automotive Technician to diagnose and repair customer vehicles with precision, following MAP guidelines and our dealership and manufacturer standards. You’ll leverage advanced diagnostics and perform complex repairs while communicating findings to customers and store leaders.

Pay ranges from $30.00 to $45.00 per hour, with competitive bi-weekly pay, tuition reimbursement, paid vacation and sick time, 6 holidays, health/dental/vision,

Qualifications

• Must have experience as automotive technician/mechanic.
• ASE certifications preferred or required in lieu of experience.
• Ability to operate computerized diagnostic equipment.
• Valid driver’s license; ability to obtain State Inspector license where applicable.
• High school diploma or technical training.

Responsibilities

• Diagnoses vehicles according to certification/experience level.
• Performs Multi-point Inspections and repairs with accuracy and efficiency.
• Performs complex and heavy-duty repairs.
• Explains diagnosis and needed repairs to customers and staff.
• Recommends necessary services and documents recommendations.
• Follows safety procedures and reports concerns to supervisor.
• Supports flexible scheduling, including weekends; Sundays closed.
• Adheres to Sun Auto’s policies and values.
