Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years of age.
• Possess State Inspector License or ability to obtain one within 30 days of hire.

Responsibilities

• Diagnoses vehicles according to certification/experience.
• Performs complex and heavy-duty repairs.
• Explains technical diagnosis and needed repairs to non-mechanical individuals.
• Documents recommendations in customer file.
• Follows all safety procedures.

Skills

Previous automotive technician / mechanic experience

ASE certifications

Proper use of computerized equipment for diagnostics

Valid Driver’s license

Education

High School Diploma or equivalent

Technical School experience preferred
