Job summary

Bridgestone is seeking an Automotive Technician in Nashua, NH, to diagnose and repair brake, hydraulic, exhaust, electrical, suspension, A/C and computer systems to exact specifications. You will explain diagnoses to customers and stay current with evolving automotive technology through paid training.

The role requires a valid driver's license, strong brakes/hydraulic or steering/suspension skills, and the ability to communicate technical information to non-technical people.

Qualifications

• Valid driver's license at all times.
• Skill in brakes and hydraulic systems or steering & suspension.
• General automotive maintenance & tire repair.
• Current federal, state, and local certification/license where applicable.
• Ability to communicate technical information to non-technical people.
• Reading, writing, and math skills.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose and repair to specifications (brake/hydraulic, exhaust, ignition, electrical, suspension, A/C, and computer systems).
• Explain diagnoses and needed repairs to non-mechanical individuals.
• Stay current with automotive technology through paid formal training.
• Assist and train technicians in performing technical activities.
• Obtain or maintain ASE certifications within the first two years of employment (tests and fees paid by company; bonus per test).
