Job summary

Bridgestone is seeking an automotive technician to diagnose and repair brake, hydraulic, electrical, and suspension systems, while communicating findings clearly to customers. The role includes ongoing formal training and opportunities to mentor technicians.

Employees are encouraged to pursue ASE certifications within two years. The company covers tests and fees and offers a bonus for each certification earned, plus comprehensive benefits and a supportive team environment.

Qualifications

• Must have a valid driver’s license at all times and be able to drive customer and company vehicles.
• Demonstrated skill in brakes and hydraulic systems and/or steering & suspension and alignments.
• Skilled in general automotive maintenance and tire repair.
• Current federal, state, and local certification/license where applicable.
• Ability to communicate technical information to non-technical people.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose and repair to specification across brake, hydraulic, exhaust, and electrical systems.
• Explain diagnoses and needed repairs to non-mechanical customers.
• Stay current with automotive technology through paid formal training.
• Assist and train technicians in technical activities.
• Pursue ASE certifications (A1–A8) within two years; company pays tests/fees and may provide bonuses for each passed.
