Job summary

AUMOVIO is seeking a Sr. SW Resident Engineer to join our ACM team in Auburn Hills. You will serve as the critical bridge between customers and internal engineering, providing expert guidance and ensuring high customer satisfaction.

Expect to diagnose complex issues, drive product improvements, and coordinate on-site support across cross-functional teams. You will act as the primary liaison, manage relationships, train customers, and contribute to cost-reduction initiatives while traveling up to

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering or related technical discipline required.
• 5+ years of relevant automotive software experience in customer-facing technical support or engineering.
• Ability to troubleshoot complex technical issues and provide practical resolutions.
• Ability to translate technical information for diverse audiences.
• Excellent written and verbal communication, with strong stakeholder management skills.
• Willingness to travel up to 10% and collaborate across teams.

Responsibilities

• Serve as primary technical liaison and escalation point for customer issues on-site.
• Analyze complex problems, diagnose root causes, and develop solutions with engineering teams.
• Communicate technical concepts clearly to customers with varying expertise.
