Job summary

Asbury Automotive Group in Arlington, TX is seeking an Automotive Service Technician to perform routine repairs, diagnose issues, and maintain warranty work with dealership support. The B level technician will work on light engine, electrical, HVAC, steering, and suspension tasks, using manufacturer certifications as a guide.

To qualify, you must have basic tools, a valid driver’s license, be a team player, and demonstrate strong mechanical and technical skills.

Qualifications

• Minimum age 18
• Valid driver’s license
• Pass pre-employment screening (background & drug)
• Must have basic tools
• Strong technical and mechanical skills

Responsibilities

• Make accurate use of the multi-point inspection form on each vehicle
• Document all work performed and recommended on assigned repair order
• Communicate with service advisor when additional work is needed or if repairs cannot be completed within the promised time
• Maintain technician proficiency as specified by Asbury standards
• Conduct road tests to verify repairs and confirm work completed when necessary
