Job summary

Ferman on Dale Mabry INC is seeking a Service Technician to diagnose, repair, and maintain guest and dealership vehicles per manufacturer specs and dealership standards. You will perform routine maintenance, service diverse systems, and document work for quality assurance.

Strong diagnostic and mechanical repair skills, use of diagnostic equipment and hand/power tools, and a commitment to safety are essential. ASE certs are preferred; high school diploma and valid license required.

Qualifications

• Valid driver’s license with acceptable driving record required.

• Manufacturer training or certifications are a plus.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose vehicle issues using diagnostic tools, equipment, and technical resources.
• Perform routine maintenance services such as oil changes, brake repairs, tire services, and fluid replacements.
• Repair and service vehicle systems including engine, transmission, electrical, suspension, and HVAC components.
• Accurately document all work performed on repair orders.
• Communicate findings, repair needs, and recommendations to Service Advisors or Shop Foreman.
• Follow manufacturer repair procedures, technical service bulletins, and warranty guidelines.
• Maintain tools, equipment, and work areas in a clean and organized condition.
• Adhere to all dealership safety policies and OSHA regulations.
• Participate in ongoing training and certification programs as required.
• Ensure all repairs meet quality standards before vehicle release.
• Assist with additional service department tasks as assigned.
