Job summary

Placements24 is seeking a Senior Automotive Project Manager for a Welkom, Free State site. You will oversee automotive development programs from inception to completion, coordinating cross-functional teams and managing timelines and budgets.

The role requires a bachelor's in engineering or related field, PMP preferred, and at least six years of project management experience in the automotive sector. You will drive risk management, quality processes, and stakeholder communication to deliver

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Business Admin, or a related field.
PMP certification is highly desirable.
Minimum of 6 years of experience in project management within the automotive industry.
Knowledge of ISO/TS 16949 is advantageous.
Experience with cross-functional teams and complex projects.

Responsibilities

Lead and manage automotive development projects, defining scope, objectives and deliverables.
Develop detailed project plans with timelines, resources, and budgets.
Coordinate with engineering, manufacturing, procurement and quality assurance.
Identify, assess and mitigate risks and issues.
Maintain active stakeholder communication and regular status reporting.
