You will document findings and collaborate with engineers to drive design improvements. The role requires a Bachelor's in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering, 4+ years in automotive testing, and on-site work in Paarl.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering.
• 4+ years of automotive testing/validation experience.
• Strong knowledge of automotive systems and vehicle dynamics.
• Experience with LabVIEW and DIAdem for data analysis.
• Experience operating and maintaining testing equipment.
• Willingness to work on-site in Paarl, Western Cape.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement comprehensive test plans for automotive systems and components.
• Set up and operate testing equipment including dynamometers and environmental chambers.
• Conduct performance, durability, environmental, and functional testing per SAE/ISO.
• Collect, process, and analyze test data using specialized software.
• Interpret results and prepare detailed reports with recommendations for design improvements.
• Troubleshoot issues with test equipment and procedures.
• Collaborate with design, R&D, and manufacturing teams to optimize performance.
• Ensure testing activities comply with regulations and company policies.
• Maintain and calibrate test equipment for accuracy.
