Job summary

Performance Driven Workforce in Greer, SC is hiring a Full-time Senior Automotive Mechanic to work in a prototype environment, diagnosing and repairing cars and trucks, and mentoring teammates to meet customer standards.

This role requires hands-on mechanical and electrical skills, attention to detail, and the ability to read and execute complex procedures. The AM day shift with overtime as needed supports career growth in a veteran-friendly employer.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Minimum 8 years of experience as a Mechanic.
• Excellent knowledge of mechanical assembly and ability to operate shop equipment.
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Ability to mentor and train others and work independently or in a team.
• Ability to read, comprehend and execute written procedures.

Responsibilities

• Maintain vehicle functional condition by following repair orders and leader instructions.
• Repair mechanical and electrical system malfunctions and replace parts.
• Read, interpret, and follow service procedures.
• Train, coach, and mentor team members as subject matter expert.
• Maintain vehicle records by entering notes, service and repair orders.
• Keep shop equipment operating by following instructions and performing preventive maintenance.
• Lead daily shop organization and clean-up.
