Performance Driven Workforce in Greer, SC is seeking a Full-time Experienced Automotive Mechanic to work on prototype vehicles in a Tier 1 environment. You will diagnose, repair, and maintain complex systems while coordinating with customers and team members.

Formación

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Minimum 4 years of work experience as a Mechanic.
• Knowledge of mechanical assembly and ability to operate shop equipment.
• Good attention to detail and organizational skills.

• Ability to read, comprehend and execute written procedures.

Responsabilidades

• Maintain vehicle functional condition by working off repair orders or leader instructions and conducting inspections.
• Repair mechanical and electrical system malfunctions and replace parts and components.
• Read, interpret, and follow service procedures.
• Maintain vehicle records by entering notes, service, and repair orders.
• Keep shop equipment operating by following operating instructions, troubleshooting breakdowns, performing preventive maintenance, calling for repairs.
• Participate in daily shop organization and clean-up.

Performance Driven Workforce (PDW) is now hiring Full-time Experienced Automotive Mechanics for an automotive Tier 1 supplier. Full-time Experienced Automotive Mechanics will modify cars and trucks in a prototype environment, performing a wide range of diagnostics, repairs, and maintenance. Experienced Automotive Mechanics will perform independent project tasks and collaborate with customers and team members. This position is based out of Greer, SC and offers an AM day shift. Candidates meeting the requirements for this Full-time Experienced Automotive Mechanics position below are strongly encouraged to apply.

Shift:

• AM day shift: Starting at 10:00 AM; shifts may last up to 12 hours (Monday – Friday, weekends as needed)

Responsibilities:

• Maintain vehicle functional condition by working off repair orders or leader instructions and conducting inspections

Preferred Qualifications:

• Certificate in Automotive Technology or related
• National Institute for Automotive Service Excellence (ASE) Certification(s)
• State Mechanic Certification(s)
• Valid driver’s license
• Knowledge of vehicle alignments, air conditioning (A/C) system repairs, tire machines and balancers
