Job summary

Slate seeks a Material Planning Manager to lead a team of Material/Inventory Analysts responsible for planning, purchasing, and inventory of service parts and accessories. The role focuses on ensuring uninterrupted production flow, optimizing stock levels, and reducing supply chain risks in a high-volume environment.

You will collaborate with SI&OP, manage supplier relationships, and set safety stocks to meet demand while maintaining strong fulfillment.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in business/supply chain or equivalent required or demonstrated experience.
  • 8+ years in Supply Chain, Logistics, or Business Management, with 3+ years in a managerial role.
  • Strong analytical skills and proficiency with ERP/MRP systems.

Responsibilities

  • Lead a team of Material/Inventory Analysts managing service parts and accessories.
  • Develop and drive improvements in material planning and inventory management.
  • Collaborate with SI&OP to align on portfolio requirements.
  • Place and track purchase orders through the ERP system.
  • Review lead times, MOQ, and data with suppliers to optimize stock.
  • Monitor inventory levels and expedite/de-expedite orders as needed.
  • Set parts stocking strategies and manage supplier relationships.
