Job summary

Pep Boys is seeking a Master Technician to diagnose drivability, A/C and electrical systems, lead a shop team and educate customers on repairs. You will mentor technicians, ensure quality service, and stay current with automotive technology through ongoing training.

The role requires 5+ years of experience, ASE certifications, and a valid driver's license. Expect to work varied shifts, including days, nights, and weekends in a fast-paced shop environment.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of strong automotive mechanical diagnosis, problem-solving and repair experience.
• High level of motivation, energy and a customer-focused attitude.
• Must have a valid driver's license.
• Successful completion of a pre-employment background check.
• Availability to work days, nights, holidays, and weekends as needed.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose and repair to specifications across brake, hydraulic, exhaust, fuel, ignition, electrical, suspension and A/C systems.
• Explain diagnoses and repairs to customers and employees.
• Mentor and lead technicians to improve customer care and satisfaction.
• Stay updated with automotive technology through training.
• Maintain organized and safe shop environment.
