Job summary

Ford’s EVDD team seeks a testing-focused engineer to drive end-to-end IVI software integration, validation and release readiness across embedded platforms. You will build automation, validate power-state transitions and diagnose complex issues across software and hardware, collaborating with cross-functional teams.

Ideal candidates have 5+ years in complex software testing, experience with Git/Jenkins/GitLab CI, and a strong problem-solving mindset.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience integrating and testing complex software systems.
• Strong grasp of software testing methodologies and QA processes.
• Experience with version control systems like Git.
• Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines (Jenkins, GitLab CI).

Responsibilities

• Drive end-to-end integration, validation, and release readiness for IVI software across embedded platforms, middleware, multimedia, connectivity, and customer-facing applications.
• Develop and maintain automated test coverage for owned features across bench and vehicle environments.
• Diagnose complex issues across software, hardware, ECUs, networks, and power states; perform root-cause analysis and drive resolution.
