You will translate requirements into hardware architectures, define verification plans, and collaborate with System, Mechanical, Firmware, and Manufacturing teams to ensure robust, cost-effective solutions.

Qualifications

• Lead automotive hardware development from concept through production.
• Translate requirements into hardware architecture and designs.
• Review PCB placement, routing, and signal integrity with a focus on automotive reliability.

Responsibilities

• Translate system requirements into hardware requirements, schematics, and design docs.
• Develop analog, digital, power, and microcontroller-based circuits.
• Perform component selection considering automotive qualification and lifecycle.
• Conduct hardware design reviews and ensure timely closure of actions.
• Develop BOM and support obsolescence management.
• Support prototype bring-up, debugging, and testing.
• Define hardware verification plans, test specs, and acceptance criteria.
• Coordinate with System, Mechanical, Firmware, Software, Manufacturing, and Customers.
