Job summary

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or equivalent experience.
• 5+ years PCB layout experience in automotive applications.
• Experience managing ECAD library models for design processes.
• Fluency with the Altium design workflow.
• Strong documentation and test reporting abilities.

Responsibilities

• Design cost-effective, high-reliability PCBs for automotive applications.
• PCB layout using Altium and perform DFM checks.
• Conduct SI and PI simulations using ANSYS and incorporate results.
• Collaborate with PCB suppliers to meet fabrication requirements.
• Verify trace impedance with VNA and document results.
• Prepare fabrication drawings, Gerber files, BOMs and release design docs.
