Stoneridge Electronics, Inc. seeks a Senior Electrical Architect (SEA) to lead electrical architecture and hardware design for advanced automotive technologies, prioritizing camera, display, and controller systems.

This hands-on leadership role blends technical depth with strategic direction to deliver scalable hardware solutions. The ideal candidate brings 5+ years in Electrical or Hardware Architect roles, strong ADAS knowledge, digital circuit design expertise, and experience with

Qualifications

Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering or similar field is required.
Master’s degree in Electrical Engineering or similar field is preferred.
Minimum 5 years in Electrical or Hardware Architect roles.
Knowledge of ADAS applications and sensor set; automotive experience required.
Solid understanding of digital circuit block design and their integration into products.
Familiarity with all faculty tools and standards like Functional Safety and ASPICE.
Basic coding and modelling with MATLAB/Simulink/Python/C.
Versed in using AI tools and confident in technical direction.

Responsibilities

Lead electrical architecture and hardware development for next-generation platforms.
Guide schematic design, PCB layout, component engineering and hardware simulation.
Develop solutions meeting customer requirements and RFQ needs.
Define electrical architectures, roadmaps, and design standards.
Ensure compliance with Functional Safety and Cybersecurity requirements.
Drive component selection, qualification, and lifecycle strategy.
Collaborate with Systems, Software, Mechanical, Manufacturing, Purchasing, and Optics teams.
