Job summary

Stoneridge is seeking a highly experienced Principal Engineer to identify, evaluate, and industrialize emerging automotive technologies. You will lead exploration in ADAS, camera systems, zonal compute, PaaK, connectivity, SDV and related domains, translating concepts into production-ready solutions.

The role requires 10+ years in automotive engineering, deep knowledge of vehicle electronics and architecture, and strong collaboration with OEMs and suppliers.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or master’s degree in Electrical/Computer Engineering, Computer Engineering, Computer Science, or a related technical field.
• 10+ years automotive industry experience.
• Experience delivering production automotive systems and technologies.

• Scout, evaluate, and assess emerging technologies; develop roadmaps and opportunities for growth.
• Lead advanced vehicle technology activities and engage with customers and partners.
