Job summary

LG Electronics is seeking a Sr. Development Engineer to drive advanced automotive development programs with a focus on quality and innovation.

The role collaborates with制造 and automotive customers to define technical requirements, coordinate APQP, and deliver robust feature implementations within schedule. The position requires 5+ years in automotive development, strong cross‑functional communication, and hands‑on hardware/software capabilities, including EE design and wireless tech.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering and 5+ years in automotive component development or testing.
• Experience managing multiple technical projects with cost, quality, and timing expectations.
• Familiarity with vehicle infotainment features, telematics, and vehicle interface technologies.
• Strong written and oral communication skills; detail oriented and quality driven.

Responsibilities

• Identify and manage project development quality during and after development.
• Resolve software and hardware issues and communicate with customers.
• Coach and mentor engineers and act as a one-stop-shop for OEM customers.
• Manage OEM design requests, develop APQP and oversee third‑party solutions.
• Develop features and manage multiple milestones; plan development activities.
• Provide cross‑functional support across validation, manufacturing, procurement, sales, and quality.
