LG Electronics Vehicle Components in the United States is seeking an experienced automotive engineering professional to lead cutting-edge component development. You will work across OEM teams, manage technical requirements, and drive for high-quality, timely results within LG’s global automotive initiative.

The role emphasizes cross-functional leadership, APQP and FMEA practices, and hands-on hardware and software integration.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering.
5+ years or equivalent experience in automotive component development or testing.
Experience managing multiple technical projects with cost/quality/timing targets.
Knowledge of Vehicle Infotainment features, Telematics, and vehicle interface tech.
Hardware development skills: EE design, schematic, board layout, RF/Bluetooth/WiFi/OTA.
Cross-disciplinary collaboration (SiriusXM, CarPlay, Android Auto, Bluetooth, RF, OTA, VIF).
Experience leading engagements with customers and internal teams.
MS Office applications.
Excellent written and oral communication with attention to detail.
Desire to learn and adapt to new technologies.
Passion for technology and problem solving.

Responsibilities

Identify and manage all project development quality during and after development.
Resolve software and hardware issues and communicate with the customer.
Coach and mentor engineers; one-stop-shop for OEM customers and internal people.
Manage OEM design requests, develop APQP and manage third-party solutions.
Develop features as needed and manage milestones.
Development planning and managing multiple feature milestones.
Support: resolve business, manufacturing, and technical issues.
Publish weekly reports on feature issues and development progress.
Coordinate cross-functional teams: Validation, Manufacturing, Purchasing, Sales, Quality.
Communicate with LG HQ cross-functional teams.
Release weekly development progress reports to customers.
