Job summary

ALTEN Technology USA is seeking a Hands-on Hardware Design Engineer with automotive embedded hardware experience to lead design from requirements through production launch. This role demands ownership, cross-functional collaboration, and hands-on schematic and PCB development.

You will work with Systems, Software, Mechanical, and Validation teams to deliver compliant, reliable automotive hardware solutions for seating, actuators, motors and interior systems, with a focus on manufacturability and

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Electrical, Electronics or Mechatronics Engineering.
7+ years automotive embedded hardware development experience.
Experience with schematic design and PCB layout.
Experience with CAN and LIN communication integration.
Experience with requirements management and traceability.

Responsibilities

Analyze customer and system requirements and derive hardware architecture.
Design and develop automotive embedded hardware solutions and components.
Lead hardware development activities from schematic through production launch.
Collaborate with Systems, Software, Mechanical, Validation, and Manufacturing teams.
Ensure compliance with automotive, customer, and regulatory requirements.
Provide technical leadership and drive design for excellence (DFX).
