Job summary

Amneal Pharmaceuticals LLC is seeking a Senior Automation Technician for a night shift (6:00 PM – 6:30 AM) to troubleshoot and repair equipment related to electronics and PLC breakdowns. The role includes documenting programs, maintaining logs, and supporting field and bench technicians across packaging lines and lab equipment.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED required.
• Technical concentration in Automation Technology, Mechatronics, hydraulics, pneumatics, PLCs, electrical circuits or a related field is required.
• 7+ years of relevant experience in an industrial or manufacturing setting; a bachelor’s degree in Mechanical/Electrical/Automation Engineering or Robotics may reduce the experience requirement to 5+ years.

Responsibilities

• Install and troubleshoot control and mechanical systems to automate upstream and downstream processing equipment.
• Perform field installation, start-up, calibration, and commissioning; maintain equipment logs and spare parts inventory.
• Improve automation processes for cost efficiency and provide ongoing automation support and on-call service.
