Job summary
Amneal Pharmaceuticals is seeking a Senior Automation Technician to troubleshoot and repair PLC-driven control systems in a manufacturing environment. The role focuses on automation hardware, instrumentation, and documentation, with on-site responsibilities across packaging lines and lab equipment.
Responsibilities include field installation, calibration, commissioning, equipment logs, and supporting uptime through proactive maintenance; a strong background in PLCs, HMIs, and process automation
Qualifications
- High School diploma or GED required.
- Technical/ vocational concentration inAutomation Technology or related field required.
- 7+ years of industrial experience in automation maintenance preferred.
- Bachelor's degree in related field may reduce experience requirement.
Responsibilities
- Troubleshoot and repair PLC-driven equipment and related control systems.
- Perform installation, calibration, startup, and commissioning activities.
- Maintain equipment log books and documentation; manage spare parts inventory.
- Interface with shift leaders and technicians during handovers to minimize downtime.
- Provide on-call automation support to ensure production uptime.
