Job summary

EMCOR Group in Las Vegas, NV seeks Automation Technician III to inspect, test, adjust and repair electric, electronic, mechanical and pneumatic automation systems across HVAC and building automation projects. The role includes diagnosing failures, preventive maintenance, mentoring junior technicians, and presenting on controls technology to teams.

Requires a Bachelor’s in Engineering or equivalent and eight years of direct automation experience.

Qualifications

• Minimum eight years of direct automation experience with control systems.
• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or equivalent field experience.
• Experience with Delta, JCI or Andover HVAC control systems.
• Strong communication and client-facing skills.

Responsibilities

• Inspect, test, adjust and repair automation devices and systems.
• Diagnose malfunctions and perform preventive and corrective maintenance.
• Coach and mentor other automation technicians.
• Understand design intent of mechanical equipment and systems.
• Interface with installation/maintenance teams to execute changes.
• Give technical presentations on building automation and controls.
