Job summary
H. T. PROF Group is seeking an Automation Solutions Consultant to act as a senior technical authority, implementing automation solutions across industries and ensuring reliable, safe operation of industrial control systems.
You will design system architectures, develop detailed scope of work packages, configure and program control systems, and drive project execution from concept through commissioning with minimal oversight.
Qualifications
- Minimum 7+ years of hands-on experience in Automation/Controls.
- Ability to read electrical drawings, schematics, P&IDs and engineering drawings.
- Experience designing and implementing industrial automation systems.
- Proven project management and leadership experience.
- Strong communication skills and team collaboration.
Responsibilities
- Lead engineering services including design, programming, documentation, and startup.
- Provide senior technical leadership across multiple projects.
- Design architectures and implement complex automation solutions.
- Serve as primary technical liaison with customers and vendors.
- Develop scope of work, proposals, and cost estimates.
- Program, configure, migrate, and troubleshoot PLC/HMI/SCADA/DCS platforms.
- Support sales with technical expertise and customer-facing documentation.
- Travel to client facilities for technical sales support and project reviews.
