Job summary

H. T. PROF Group is seeking an Assistant Technical Applications Manager who will bridge engineering, automation, and customer support to deliver robust industrial gas detection and control solutions. You will design, program, test, and implement systems, while mentoring engineers and guiding field teams.

The role combines office and on-site work across industrial facilities, with emphasis on collaboration with customers and internal product teams to improve reliability and performance.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of experience in applications engineering, controls, automation, field engineering, or related technical environment.
• Bachelor's degree in Electrical/Electronics engineering or related.
• Strong hands-on experience with industrial installations, startup, commissioning, and field support.
• Experience programming and troubleshooting PLCs and HMIs is highly preferred.

Responsibilities

• Serve as senior technical resource for industrial gas detection, automation, and control system applications.
• Lead system design activities including control architecture and automation strategies.
• Configure, program, troubleshoot, and support PLCs, HMIs, and industrial networks.
• Manage projects from concept to commissioning and customer training.
• Provide on-site commissioning, startup assistance, and technical support at customer facilities.
