Job summary

SINGLE USE SUPPORT GMBH is seeking an experienced Automation Engineer to design, program, and commission PLC/HMI systems for multiple clients across the United States. You will work with Rockwell/Allen-Bradley and Siemens platforms, develop control logic, and perform FAT/SAT in collaboration with engineering teams.

The role requires a minimum of 10 years in industrial automation, strong English communication, and a willingness to travel extensively (75-90%).

Qualifications

• Technical education in automation engineering, electrical engineering, mechatronics, or a related field.
• Minimum 10 years of experience in industrial automation, controls engineering on the field.
• Strong expertise in Rockwell/Allen-Bradley PLC/HMI systems; Siemens experience is an advantage.
• Proven track record in commissioning, startup, troubleshooting, and service support for automated equipment.
• Experience working directly with customers in demanding production environments; GMP experience is a plus.
• Business fluent in English with excellent communication skills.
• High willingness to travel (75%-90%), including regular trips to Austria and customer sites across the US.
• Valid driver's license.

Responsibilities

• Execute SAT and ensure compliance with GMP and safety requirements.
• Create service documentation and maintain software and system records.
• Collaborate with Engineering, Project Management, and Quality teams throughout project execution.
• Ensure compliance with electrical and machine safety standards.
• Support information security compliance by adhering to company policies and protecting systems and data.

• Execute Site Acceptance Tests (SAT) and ensure compliance with customer, GMP, and safety requirements.
