Job summary

Equinor seeks an experienced cybersecurity engineer to operate and monitor automated control systems in energy production. You will analyze data, troubleshoot issues, and optimize energy production through automation while adhering to safety protocols.

Role involves SCADA/IT-OT collaboration, offshore work, and coordination with IT/OT support. Reports to Technical Manager for PWR Empire Operations.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in cyber/CS/engineering or related field.
• 7+ years of experience in cybersecurity or related industries.
• Knowledge of SCADA, ICCP and RTU protocols; familiarity with NERC CIP.

Responsibilities

• Operate and monitor automated control systems in energy production.
• Follow safety protocols and optimize processes through automation.
• Collaborate with Wind Farm IT/OT assets and Transmission System teams.
• Coordinate maintenance and liaise with IT/OT support; offshore work possible.
• Manage maintenance tasks and ensure compliance with procedures.
• Oversee vendor activities and address automation-related issues.
