Job summary

NextEra Energy Resources is seeking a Senior OT Systems Administrator to lead and maintain OT infrastructure across generation assets, ensuring secure, available, and compliant operations. You will work with Cybersecurity, SCADA, IT, and operations teams to sustain resilient OT environments.

Responsibilities include implementing RBAC, monitoring, vulnerability management, patching, and asset inventory improvements, while supporting ongoing cybersecurity transformation initiatives for the fleet.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in IT, CS, cybersecurity, engineering, or related field.
• 4+ years supporting industrial control systems or OT infrastructure.
• Experience with Windows Server, AD, virtualization, backup, and networks.
• Familiarity with Modbus, DNP3, and OT environments.
• Knowledge of cybersecurity principles, access management, and incident response.

Responsibilities

• Administer and maintain OT infrastructure across generation facilities.
• Support installation, patching, backup, recovery, and lifecycle management.
• Assist RBAC, asset inventory, monitoring, and secure remote access.
• Coordinate with Cybersecurity, SCADA, Ops, IT, and vendors.
• Contribute to OT resiliency and system hardening programs.
