Job summary

Ecobat is seeking an Automation/Controls Engineer to maintain process control infrastructure and support SCADA functions. The role will coordinate automation direction for facilities and oversee planning, training, and execution of plant automation activities under the Maintenance/Engineering Manager.

Required experience includes SCADA/HMI/PLC development, strong communication skills, and knowledge of industrial networks and RSView32/FactoryTalk/Wonderware/Ignition platforms.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in electrical or computer engineering or related field.
• Minimum five years’ SCADA/HMI/PLC experience.
• Strong communication and documentation skills.
• Experience with industrial networks and wireless protocols.

Responsibilities

• Develop SCADA/HMI software with real-time data screens and alarms.
• Lead investigations and propose SCADA solutions.
• Analyze problems, improve performance, and reduce costs.
• Develop plans and schedules for integrated SCADA projects.
• Train engineers and personnel in SCADA responsibilities.
• Coordinate with supervisors to align department activities.
• Assist startup and field troubleshooting during construction.
