Job summary

Top Echelon Software LLC is seeking a Sr. Project Engineer to take a project from concept to completion for fully customized automated assembly equipment. You will design and, on smaller projects, lead a design team.

You will manage resources, communicate milestones to customers and the management team, and ensure design release schedules, budgeting, and on-time delivery. Requirements include a BSME or equivalent, 5+ years of project design in automation, SolidWorks proficiency, welding and GD&T

Qualifications

• BSME or similar degree with strong mechanical design skills.
• 5+ years of project design experience for fully customized automated production equipment.
• You must know SolidWorks.
• Experience with welding, fixture design and GD&T.

Responsibilities

• Design and oversee custom automated equipment from concept to completion.
• Manage resources and break down design tasks for large projects, communicating timelines and milestones.
• Lead design efforts, potentially coordinating external contractors.
• Maintain project budgets and design release schedules; communicate status to customers and management.
