Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering required; Master’s preferred.
• Experience with automation, programming and controls in manufacturing environments.
• Successful implementation of automation projects in high-volume plants.
• Ability to communicate with personnel at all levels and build rapport.

Responsibilities

• Build and lead a team of Automation Program Leads and Engineers across JBPCO sites.
• Design, build, install and launch new equipment at sites in collaboration with BUs and central functions.
• Develop automation roadmap and concept developments with business units.
• Drive standardization and cost improvements through automated solutions across plants.
• Identify and qualify external automation vendors and manage the system acquisition process.
• Lead complex system tests, prepare reports, and ensure safe, efficient rollouts.
• Improve labor and space efficiency and safety; address ergonomics.
• Develop skill requirements and gaps; provide training and production support.
