Job summary

Colonial Group seeks a Sr. Process Engineer II to lead automation initiatives across blown film extrusion, in-line printing, conversion, and packaging.

You will own device and system lifecycle from installation through commissioning, manage Level 1 engineers, and drive capital projects with strict safety and environmental compliance. Requirements include a Bachelor’s in engineering and 10+ years in process control or manufacturing with leadership experience.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering (Mechanical, Electrical, Chemical, or related discipline).
• 10+ years in process control or manufacturing engineering with leadership experience.

Responsibilities

• Lead engineering team including Level 1 Sr. Process Engineers and technical staff.
• Design, develop, and implement PLC/HMI programming for multiple processes.
• Own capital equipment installations from scope to handoff and FAT/SAT.
• Drive process automation improvements across four manufacturing areas.
• Ensure safety, environmental, and regulatory compliance across all projects.
