Job summary

ZT Systems is seeking a Staff Controls, Automation & Mechatronics Engineer to spearhead advanced automation in server manufacturing. You will design and implement automated assembly, test equipment, and scalable automation strategies aligned with product roadmaps.

You will apply PID control, motion control, robotics integration, and data-driven methods to improve yield, reliability, and throughput while ensuring safety and compliance across the facility.

Qualifications

Advanced degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Data Science, or a related field.
8+ years of experience in high-volume, high-complexity manufacturing.
Experience with data-driven tools to analyze large datasets.

Responsibilities

Define and implement new automation systems and frameworks to support smart factory initiatives.
Design and integrate automated assembly and test equipment for server components.
Collaborate to embed DFM and DFA principles in new product designs.
Lead tooling qualification, process documentation, and operator training.
