Job summary

ZT Systems is seeking a Senior Staff L10/L11 Systems Integration & Test Development Engineer to design and implement scalable automation that validates complex hardware, firmware, software, and network platforms. You will lead cross-functional teams to ensure rapid validation, deployment readiness, and high-quality releases.

The role demands deep expertise in test automation, system integration, and large-scale infrastructure validation, with a track record of influencing engineering decisions

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a related technical discipline; advanced degree preferred.
• 10+ years of experience in systems integration, test engineering, validation engineering, or platform development.
• Strong experience integrating hardware, firmware, software, networking, and infra technologies.
• Expertise in automated test frameworks and tools (Python, Shell, Go, Java).
• Deep understanding of validation methodologies, integration testing, performance testing, and release qualification.
• Experience with server platforms, storage, networking, and hyperscale or cloud infra environments.
• Strong knowledge of Linux, virtualization, distributed computing, and system architecture.
• Experience troubleshooting complex system-level issues and root-cause analysis across domains.
• Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines, test management, and IaC methodologies.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with data-driven validation.

Responsibilities

• Design and develop scalable automated test frameworks for system integration and validation.
• Lead end-to-end system integration across hardware, firmware, software, networking, and platform management.
• Create test strategies, validation methodologies, and automation solutions.
• Develop automated test cases for functional, performance, reliability, regression, and interoperability tests.
• Support bring-up, integration, and validation of next-gen server, storage, networking platforms.
• Collaborate with engineering to identify integration challenges and drive root-cause resolution.
• Build tools and automation to accelerate development cycles and reduce manual testing.
• Analyze logs, telemetry, and test data to evaluate platform readiness.
• Define validation metrics, dashboards, and reporting for system health.
