Job summary
Chobani is seeking an experienced Instrumentation and Controls Technician in Idaho to identify, troubleshoot, and maintain industrial instrumentation and control systems. The role requires expert knowledge of regulations, safety standards, and plant standards, with the ability to mentor others and lead complex automation projects.
The ideal candidate has hands-on experience with PLCs and instrumentation calibration, and can provide high-level support on automation issues while ensuring product
Qualifications
- 3–5 years in electrical, PLC and instrumentation in industrial facilities.
- Associates degree in controls/automation preferred.
- Experience with Allen Bradley PLC and Rockwell HMI systems.
Responsibilities
- Calibrate and repair plant instrumentation and control devices.
- Troubleshoot electrical systems and diagnose problems.
- Identify root causes by observing equipment in operation; use precision testing tools.
- Use electronic test equipment (multimeters, oscilloscopes, megger, calibrators).
- Redline automation programs and documentation (PLC, HMI, drawings).
- Provide maintenance break/fix support for automation issues.
