Job summary

Chobani is seeking an Automation and Controls Engineer to develop and administer the plant's Ethernet network, ensuring reliable automation solutions and strong collaboration with internal and external teams.

The role requires leadership, client-focused communication, and the ability to troubleshoot complex automation and electrical issues while partnering with IT to bridge floor data to ERP systems.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or 4 years' experience developing automation systems for production processes.
• 5-7 years consumer packaged goods category management experience.
• High level of proficiency in working directly with headquarters level customers.
• Strong leadership skills.
• Strong multi-functional exposure/experience.
• Highly client-centric and skilled at building and maintaining solid relationships.
• Excellent verbal, written and interpersonal communication skills.
• Ability to work in an entrepreneurial, fast-paced and dynamic environment.
• Highly organized when prioritizing multiple projects at once.

Responsibilities

• Develop, implement, and administer the plant controls Ethernet network.
• Engineer and implement reliable automation solutions to meet business needs.
• Provide maintenance break/fix support for automation issues.
• Serve as automation and controls guide on local project teams.
• Provide high-level technical support for complex automation and electrical issues.
• Produce energy and production reports using historian and energy management tools.
• Maintain all automation programming software and documentation.
• Collaborate with Automation Team to optimize processes for Norton Shores and La Colombe.
