Job summary

Delta Engineering, Inc. in Atlanta is seeking a motivated automation engineer to support our US and international customers. You will work in a small team to design, install, and service custom automation lines, ensuring smooth startup and ongoing performance.

This customer‑oriented, project-driven role requires strong communication, hands-on troubleshooting, and willingness to travel up to 50% (passport required).

Qualifications

• Good knowledge and understanding of automation and electrical engineering.
• Experience with AutoCAD and MS Office.
• Hands-on installation and commissioning of machines.
• Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving abilities.
• Able to work in an international environment and travel up to 50%.

Responsibilities

• Prepare machines for factory acceptance at the Atlanta facility.
• Prepare machines for shipping and install on site at customers.
• Assemble and set up automation lines; test run machines.
• Provide remote and on-site support; train customers and maintain machines.
