Job summary

Delta Electronics Americas seeks a Solutions Engineer – Factory Automation to design and implement automation solutions for complex manufacturing challenges. You will work with customers, sales, project management, and engineering to understand processes, develop architectures, and lead successful deployments.

You will showcase expertise in PLCs, HMIs, SCADA, robotics, motion control, vision, and IIoT, directing technical wins, BOMs, proposals, FAT/SAT, and startup activities while traveling

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in engineering or equivalent automation experience.
• 5+ years in industrial automation projects.
• Travel up to 40–60% across North America.
• Strong communication and project leadership skills.

Responsibilities

• Develop automation system concepts and architectures for customer challenges.
• Lead technical discovery sessions and plant assessments.
• Create technical proposals, BOMs, and proof-of-concept demos.
• Support RFQs, RFIs, and RFP responses.
• Provide technical leadership during FAT/SAT and startup.
• Collaborate with Sales, Engineering, and Product teams.
