Job summary

TAS Energy Inc., headquartered in Houston, TX, seeks a Senior Automation Engineer to design, implement, and optimize advanced industrial automation systems. You will lead projects from concept through commissioning, guiding engineers, technicians, and cross-functional partners to improve safety, reliability, and throughput.

The role requires deep PLC/SCADA experience, proficiency with major platforms, and a strong grasp of instrumentation, networks, and control panels within a manufacturing

Qualifications

10+ years of experience designing and supporting industrial automation systems.
Advanced PLC programming experience with Allen‑Bradley, Siemens, Schneider Electric, or equivalent.
Experience developing HMI and SCADA applications using FactoryTalk, Ignition, WinCC, Wonderware, or equivalent.

Responsibilities

Design, program, test, and commission industrial automation and control systems.
Develop and maintain PLC, HMI, SCADA, motion-control, and robotic applications.
Lead automation projects, including requirements gathering, project charter, system architecture, vendor coordination, installation, validation, and startup.

Education

Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Controls Engineering, Automation Engineering, or a related discipline
