Job summary

Virtue America is seeking a Senior Automation Engineer with 9–10 years of hands-on experience in automation. The role requires strong PLC programming, HMI/SCADA, and system integration skills, with exposure to regulated manufacturing environments.

The ideal candidate will collaborate with Engineering, Manufacturing, Quality, and Validation teams to drive commissioning, startup, and performance optimization. U.S.-based candidates on a W2 basis are welcome to apply.

Qualifications

9–10 years of hands-on experience in automation engineering.
Strong expertise in PLC programming, industrial automation, and control systems.
Experience with PLC platforms such as Rockwell/Allen‑Bradley, Siemens, or similar systems.
Proficiency in HMI/SCADA systems, control logic, and system troubleshooting.
Experience with automated manufacturing equipment, instrumentation, and system integration.
Knowledge of equipment commissioning, startup, testing, and performance optimization.
Ability to troubleshoot automation issues and implement effective corrective solutions.
Experience collaborating with Engineering, Manufacturing, Quality, and Validation teams.
Experience in pharmaceutical, biotechnology, medical device, or other regulated manufacturing environments is preferred.
Strong technical documentation, analytical, and problem‑solving skills.

Responsibilities

Provide technical leadership for automation projects and equipment validation.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless system integration and process reliability.
Develop and maintain technical documentation, test plans, and commissioning procedures.
