LHH Recruitment Solutions is seeking an experienced Automation Engineer with 5+ years of PLC programming in manufacturing environments. The role focuses on designing automated control systems, programming PLCs, developing HMI screens, and maintaining electrical documentation.

Occasional travel up to 35% is required to support installations and commissioning. You will work with AutoCAD for drawings and collaborate with customers to ensure safety standards and project success.

Qualifications

• 5+ years PLC programming in industrial/manufacturing environments.
• Strong experience with Allen-Bradley ControlLogix and CompactLogix platforms.
• Siemens PLCs experience is a plus.
• Proficiency with AutoCAD, electrical schematics, and panel layouts.
• Solid understanding of sensors, VFDs, servo drives, and I/O systems.

Responsabilités

• Design and develop automated control systems and machine controls.
• Create and modify PLC programs, HMI screens, ladder logic, and electrical drawings.
• Lead design reviews and coordinate with customers and internal teams.
• Develop BOMs, timelines, and technical documentation.
• Troubleshoot PLCs, controls, I/O, and equipment.
• Support startup, commissioning, validation, and customer acceptance testing.
• Provide remote and on-site technical support as needed.
• Travel up to 35% for installations and support.
