Job summary

Virtue America is seeking a Senior Automation Engineer with 9–10 years of hands-on experience in automation. The role requires strong PLC programming, HMI/SCADA, and system integration skills, with exposure to regulated manufacturing environments.

The ideal candidate will collaborate with Engineering, Manufacturing, Quality, and Validation teams to drive commissioning, startup, and performance optimization. U.S.-based candidates on a W2 basis are welcome to apply.

Qualifications

• 9–10 years of hands-on experience in automation engineering.
• Strong expertise in PLC programming, industrial automation, and control systems.
• Experience with PLC platforms such as Rockwell/Allen‑Bradley, Siemens, or similar systems.
• Proficiency in HMI/SCADA systems, control logic, and system troubleshooting.
• Experience with automated manufacturing equipment, instrumentation, and system integration.
• Knowledge of equipment commissioning, startup, testing, and performance optimization.
• Ability to troubleshoot automation issues and implement effective corrective solutions.
• Experience collaborating with Engineering, Manufacturing, Quality, and Validation teams.
• Experience in pharmaceutical, biotechnology, medical device, or other regulated manufacturing environments is preferred.
• Strong technical documentation, analytical, and problem‑solving skills.
