AbbVie Inc. is seeking an experienced OT Automation Engineer to design, implement and integrate automation projects across manufacturing and laboratory operations.

You will act as SME for automation applications, process control systems and robotics, guiding configuration, validation and life-cycle activities for DCS, PLCs, Ignition SCADA and data historians. The role requires a Bachelor's degree in computer science or engineering and at least four years of relevant experience in regulated

Formación

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science or engineering with four years of relevant experience.
• Experience with SCADA and PLCs (Ignition and Allen-Bradley), ladder logic, and HMI graphics.
• Knowledge of commissioning and qualification activities, including change control.
• Experience with FDA, GMP, 21 CFR 11, Data Integrity in pharma/biotech/manufacturing.
• Windows Server OS, Active Directory, TCP/IP, DHCP, DNS.

Responsabilidades

• Act as SME for Automation Applications, Process Control systems, and robotics.
• Provide process controls input for manufacturing improvements.
• Configure and program OT systems per change management procedures.
• Provide training for OT systems users/engineers.
• Diagnose and troubleshoot OT hardware, software, and networking issues.
• Validate OT systems upgrades and data migrations (DCS, PLCs, Ignition SCADA, Data Historian).
• Support OT systems lifecycle including qualification protocols and design specs.
• Perform OT system maintenance tasks (OS updates, backups, etc.).
• Establish project management techniques for automation projects.
• Flexibility to work evenings/weekends for production changes.
• Ensure EHS compliance and continuous improvement.
