Job summary

AbbVie seeks an Automation Engineer to design, implement and qualify automation for GMP facilities and labs. You will configure DeltaV, Rockwell PLC, and Foxboro DCS IO layers, support commissioning activities, and provide 24x7 on-site/on-call support to ensure compliant, reliable operations.

Responsibilities include ensuring 21 CFR Part 11 compliance, participating in change control and CAPA processes, and collaborating across Plant Engineering, Maintenance, Manufacturing and Process

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in engineering or related field.
• 2+ years of engineering/operational experience.
• Pharma/biopharma process automation experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Design, implement, and qualify automation for GMP facilities and labs.
• Configure DCS/PLC IO layers (DeltaV, Rockwell, Foxboro).
• Provide 24x7 on-site/on-call support as needed.
• Support FAT/SFAT/SAT and turnover per CSV expectations.
• Ensure change control and 21 CFR Part 11 compliance.
