Job summary

Walker Lovell Ltd. is seeking an experienced automation engineer to own control-system improvements across multiple industrial sites in North America. You will directly influence plant reliability, safety, and production performance while collaborating with operations, maintenance, and engineering teams.

The role combines hands-on site work with project execution and system modernization, offering exposure to PLC/SCADA, instrumentation, and industrial network upgrades across diverse facilities.

Qualifications

Minimum 5 years' experience in industrial automation, process controls, or control systems engineering.
Strong knowledge of Allen Bradley PLC platforms, HMI/SCADA systems, and industrial networking.
Experience supporting heavy industrial environments such as manufacturing, mining, cement, lime.

Responsibilities

Lead automation and process control improvements that enhance safety, reliability, and production efficiency.
Troubleshoot and resolve PLC, SCADA, instrumentation, and network issues across manufacturing operations.
Support automation upgrades, plant network projects, and digital transformation initiatives.
