Job summary

Haskell is seeking a lead automation professional to serve as the primary technical resource for automation scopes on projects, coordinating design across disciplines, vendors, and subcontractors. You will work with customer and project leadership to develop and implement automation deliverables from concept through startup.

The role includes budgeting, vendor scope development, plant surveys, proposal development, and programming of PLC/HMI, with potential to lead a small team.

Qualifications

• Bachelor of Science degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or equivalent.
• 10 years of industry related experience required.
• PE license preferred.
• Strong knowledge of electrical design for automation and 480V power systems.
• Experience in PLC and HMI programming.

Responsibilities

• Lead automation design for conceptual and detailed design stages.
• Develop control system basis of design and budgets.
• Coordinate with vendors and subcontractors; manage design reviews.
• Supervise design and startup teams; ensure schedule and budget.
• Provide project reporting and performance tracking.
• Travel up to 20% for installations and startup.
