Vylor, located in Des Moines, IA, seeks a Senior Laboratory Automation Engineer to design, implement, and optimize automated workflows across the research organization. You will translate scientific needs into scalable liquid-handling processes and lead cross-functional automation projects.

You will work with researchers to map workflows, deploy robust solutions on Tecan FluentControl and Hamilton VENUS platforms, and mentor lab staff on new procedures and safety practices.

Qualificações

• 7+ years translating scientific needs into automated workflows.
• Experience with Tecan FluentControl and Hamilton VENUS.
• Programming in Python or C++ or similar languages.
• Ability to lead cross-functional teams and drive impact.
• Strong troubleshooting of lab automation systems.

Responsabilidades

• Collaborate with researchers to map processes and design automation strategies.
• Lead automation projects from requirements through deployment.
• Develop and optimize liquid handler methods across platforms.
• Serve as senior escalation point for instrument faults and errors.
