United Pharma is seeking a Senior Automation Engineer II to lead automation and control systems engineering in a regulated biopharmaceutical manufacturing environment. You will apply expertise in PLC/DCS, MES, and data systems to ensure compliant operations.

The role requires 8+ years in industrial automation, strong DeltaV/PLC skills, and experience in cGMP settings. You will collaborate across Manufacturing, Engineering, and site leadership on priorities and project delivery.

Qualificações

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Chemical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field.
• 8+ years of industrial automation or control systems engineering experience.
• Strong expertise in Emerson DeltaV or similar DCS platforms and PLC programming.
• Experience in cGMP, pharmaceutical, biotechnology, or other regulated environments.
• Knowledge of ISA-88/ISA-95, batch or continuous manufacturing, and industrial instrumentation.
• Familiarity with industrial networking, including Ethernet/IP and Profibus.
• Experience with data historians, OPC, SCADA, and reporting system integrations.
• Proven project leadership, troubleshooting, communication, and cross-functional collaboration skills.

Responsabilidades

• Serve as the SME for PLC, DCS, MES, and ancillary data systems.
• Troubleshoot control systems and support reliable, compliant manufacturing operations.
• Lead automation projects from requirements and design through implementation.
• Drive system optimization, continuous improvement, and automation innovation.
• Review engineering deliverables and maintain SOPs, work instructions, specifications, and drawings.
• Support commissioning, qualification, validation, audits, and inspections.
• Collaborate with Manufacturing, Engineering, and site leadership on operational and project priorities.
