Job summary

Regeneron Pharmaceuticals, Inc (USA) seeks a Senior Automation Engineer to join the Automation Engineering team. You will design, develop, and optimize software and hardware for biopharmaceutical manufacturing, collaborating with Manufacturing, Quality Control, and Facilities to keep systems running at peak efficiency.

The role requires experience with DeltaV DCS, PLCs, and control systems in a regulated environment.

Qualifications

BS in Engineering or related field with 2+ years experience.
Experience in design/maintenance of process control and/or data acquisition systems.
Experience programming/troubleshooting DeltaV DCS and PLCs.
Experience with Allen-Bradley and Siemens control products.
Experience in a regulated manufacturing environment.

Responsibilities

Design, develop, and implement software and hardware improvements to automated equipment.
Provide PLC- and HMI-based technical support to various departments per SOPs.
Identify, investigate, and resolve manufacturing deviations tied to automated control systems.
Develop engineering design documents, technical evaluations, and test plans per GAMP 5.
Support process control and monitoring equipment through software design, commissioning, testing, and corrective action.
Author and execute FAT and SAT protocols and system specifications.
Champion continuous improvement as an everyday outlook.
